These three beautiful Native (crystallized) Gold specimens listed below, come from the famous Eagle's Nest Mine, Placer County, California. Each one displays a very unique quality. As you are probably aware of, the price of gold has been escalating, so these specimens are worth their weight in Gold! Ha! Actually, even more so, as they are in their natural state, combined with a milky Quartz matrix. These specimens are very high quality in color, crystal formations, and natural design.

Gold on Quartz Matrix # GQ01

I have dubbed this gorgeous thumbnail specimen "Dancing Eagle". I think you can see what I mean upon examining the pictures below. The lustrous leaf crystals spread out like wings, from the center of what resembles the Eagle's head and body! Sits up on its own and displays beautifully. One of the "wings" displays nice trigonal crystal formations! This is one incredible thumbnail!

Native Gold on Quartz Matrix # GQ02

Superb miniature of Native Gold on Quartz. The crystallized structure of the Gold bridges together several pieces of Quartz, that sit on top of the base of a larger piece of Quartz. Very aesthetic, sculptural like piece.

Gold on Quartz Matrix # GQ03

Beautiful Gold crystals flaring of the top of a quartz matrix. The Quartz matrix has some darker elements throughout, making a wonderful contrast with the milky quartz, and metallic Gold coloring. Very attractive miniature!
