I was really excited about finding this exceptional specimen at the Tucson show. From a very recent mining, I was told not many were extracted. This perfect, gorgeous, doubly terminated, lustrous Ruby crystal sits on a matrix of Rhodolite Garnet, and Mica Phlogopite. You can see the variations in the different color zones of violet/purple/mauve hues throughout the crystal, giving this top shelf gem layers of pronounced beauty. Poised majestically on the matrix, this is one of my favorite acquisitions from the show, and the best of this species that I saw!

Dimensions in cm: 5.0 x 3.5 x 5.0
Largest crystal in cm: 1.9

Brazilianite with Albite # TUC0803

The beauty pictured here speaks for itself. I was so captivated by these Brazilianite's, that I returned to the source to buy several more before the show was over! Featuring one large crystal, and several smaller ones, laced with crystallized Albite. Great color, luster, perfect terminations, and superb quality throughout.

Brazilianite with Albite # TUC0804

WOW! This is one very large perfect, perfectly double terminated crystal. I saw one similar to this specimen on another web site sell for three times the price that I have listed here. Guess I must have gotten a great deal on the lot! As always I will pass this savings on to my customers.

My sentiments on this piece are the same as the above specimen in that beauty pictured here speaks for itself! Superb aesthetics, excellent color, luster, perfect terminations, and superb quality throughout. A winning combination of Brazilianite and Albite. Truly one of the more affordable bigger size specimens that I saw like this one at the show!

PLEASE NOTE: All of the photographs are not to scale. Some are enlarged to give you an accurate and an in depth view of all the details for you to see. Please always refer to specimen size in all my listings for the actual size, as this is what the final price is based on. Although picture colors can vary slightly from browsers to computers, I go to great lengths in photographing all mineral specimens with complete color accuracy, without any retouching whatsoever! My photo studio lighting consists of 4800K fluorescent lighting, which simulates the wavelengths of daylight. In some cases for a different effect I have utilized regular incandescent lighting to provide a different effect.
